The researchers at Texas A&M University have shared that a simpler procedure has been created to help those struggling with obesity to cut the fat.
The new process reportedly reroutes how the digestive tract absorbs food and thus restricts the amount of food the stomach can hold.
The implantation titled a wireless gastric optogenetic implantation which is less invasive as compared to the popular gastric bypass, will be inserted through minimal surgery and also stimulate specific nerve endings in the stomach.
The implant which is wireless will be controlled by a remote radio frequency source. Obesity remains a major concern for Kenya and the rest of the world. It is also a leading precedent for heart diseases.
