The Federal Government has signed a 1.9 billion dollar contract document for the commencement of the Kano-Maradi and Kano-Dutse rail projects.
The 283.75-kilometer rail line contract signed between the Federal Government and the Mota-Engil Group, a Multinational Engineering and construction company seeks to integrate road transport and contribute to the local economy as well as the social sector.
The project is expected to take thirty-six months for its completion.
