In an uncanny twist of fate, a 23-year-old university student IT from Kenya, Lawrence Simon Warunge has confessed to killing 5 family members after gaining inspiration from the series ‘Killing Eve’
According to the prime suspect, he went online to search for how to kill his entire family without a trace in the footsteps of the movie character ‘Villanelle’ and decided to kill his sisters just to cover his tracks.
Lawrence employed the use of a kitchen knife, clothes shoes, and a piece of paper which he eventually hid in a pit latrine.
Lawrence was arrested on Friday in Kabete after fleeing from the crime scene on Tuesday in Kiambu county.
Currently, Lawrence and his girlfriend, who happens to be his neighbor, Sarah Muthoni are in custody and will be expected in court today.
Lawrence attributed his crimes to hatred. According to him, his parents hated him and talked behind his back.
