Customs seize ₦386 million worth of Contraband Rice

The Nigerian Customs Service in Owerri has seized about two thousand one hundred and fifteen (2115) bags of contraband rice and other goods worth about three hundred and eighty-six million Naira in the state. 

Comptroller in charge of zone F, Yusuf Lawal, made this statement while addressing newsmen at the Benin Customs office. He warned Nigerians who are into importation of Rice and other contraband goods to desist or face the wrath of the law.

Lawal also added that under his leadership there will be no room for corruption and that he will work in line with the vision of President Muhammad Buhari to boot out corruption in the system.
