More than 20 suspected bandits have been arrested by some volunteer groups in Beji town, in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State.

The volunteer group members who arrested the suspects said they also conducted a thorough investigation on the suspects.

The Volunteers have promised to continue to hunt for suspected bandits, as part of efforts to curtail banditry in Nigeria.

The adjoining communities in Beji, including Kampala and Barkuta, had their share of bandit attacks, which led to the loss of lives while some were also kidnapped.

Beji is about 32 kilometers away from Minna, the Niger State capital.
