Bala Mohammed swears in 3 new Judges amidst Concern

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has expressed dismay on the way and manner the state judiciary has discharged its statutory responsibilities. Governor Mohammed disclosed this during the official swearing-in of three New High Court Judges.

While Congratulating the newly sworn-in High Court Judges, the Bauchi State Governor said his government and the good people of the state are not happy with the way and manner, the administration of justice is being handled in the state, considering what he described as the increase in crime and criminality in the society.

He hinted that the judiciary’s welfare is always among the top priorities under his administration. He called on them to be just and fair, in the discharge of their responsibilities, as the last hope of the common man.

Shortly after taking the Oaths of Allegiance, the newly sworn-in High Court Judges, appreciated the concern shown by the governor to the service and their welfare, saying they have nothing to do than to commit their services towards ensuring the smooth dispensation of justice.

The government said with the coming of the new High Court Judges, the system will change for the better, in its quest to facilitate the speedy dispensation of justice to the people.
