Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Global Community Church has, using his church pulpit, sent a strong warning to all those who are casting aspersion on Tinubu’s ancestry and source of wealth by advising them to find better things to do with their time in a sermon tagged – An Idle Man’s Brain is the Devil’s Workshop.
He buttressed on the fact that Tinubu’s ancestry or lack of was inconsequential to Nigeria’s development and as such all his naysayers should stop pointing accusing fingers and find better things to do with their time.
In his words, he described them as ‘Yoruba rancorous elements, noisemakers who have not achieved as much as the former Lagos State Governor’ right within a Sunday sermon.
Despite not mentioning any names, it appears, the persons whom the shot was fired identified themselves by responding to the pastor. Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) rose to the occasion, accusing the pastor of being inconsistent, and suggested the pastor had some dirty secret at the fingertips of the National Leader of the APC and as such feared for his dirty linen to be spread in public.
Well, Tunde Bakare was having none of it as not only did he dare for his dirty secret of 1990 to be shared in public, he referred to FFK as someone who is still under the grip of satan when he delivered his mother to Christ.
There have been hearsays concerning the presidential ambition of the National Leader of the APC, and also groups of people who have come to show support for Ashiwaju Tinubu to run, however, the man himself has not declared any plans to contest for the 2023 presidential election.
