Four Journalists working for the Iwacu who was arrested late last year for what has been described as a baseless accusation by some human rights group have been released on a presidential pardon.
The four, Agnes Ndirubusa, Christine Kamikazi, Egude Harerimana and Terence Mpozenzi were all charged with threatening state security and sentenced to two and a half years in October 2019.
President Evariste today granted them all a presidential pardon after serving one year in detention.
