NSCDC decorates 351 officers in Niger State

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Niger State Command decorate three hundred and fifty-one Officers and Men.

Admonishing the newly promoted officers and men, the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Abdullahi Gana, said they should see their elevation as an additional responsibility for the tasks ahead of them.

Commandant General Abdullahi Gana gave the advice in Minna, the Niger State capital while decorating three hundred and fifty-one officers and men, at the command’s Headquarters.

Commandant General Abdullahi Gana, represented by the state’s Commandant, Haruna Zurmi, said in a statement issued by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Nasir Abdullahi, reminded them of the need to carry out their duties diligently.

He stressed the need for them to also protect national assets and infrastructure, as well as engage in anti-vandalism and information gathering.

The statement added that Area Commanders and Divisional Officers are to decorate the newly promoted officers at their respective posts.
