The African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Adamawa State has collapsed its structures and returned to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Led by its leadership, Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, they say they will join forces to retake power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Also, supporters of Bala Ngilari, a former Adamawa state governor, senator Elisha Abbo, and the governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, who had earlier declared their defection decision, attended the unity meeting organised by the APC to welcome the defectors.
