President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the rescued Government Science Secondary School Kankara boys to put behind them, the unfortunate incident and focus on their studies.
According to Buhari, the incident is nothing but a stepping stone to greater achievements ahead.
The President who was excited about the rescue of the boys, noted that great persons in life sometimes have bitter experiences, which helped to shape their lives.
He promised to continue to do all that is possible to secure the nation and uphold its unity.
Speaking, Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, used the occasion to reiterate the need for everyone to take security seriously, stressing that it is everyone’s business.
He thanked the President for checking on the boys, pointing out that the move has put to rest calls for him to visit and commiserate with the parents of the students.
