Vladimir Putin has retorted that attempts to pin the Novichok poisoning of Alexei Navalny on the Russian Government is a known trick in politics used across the world and remains unwavering.
According to Putin, his most vocal critic, Alexei Navalny is not worth poisoning. Navalny had earlier dissolved all investigation concerning an attempt on his life after a team of assassins supposedly from Russia’s FSB security as likely suspects.
The Russian President remained stalwart in reiterating that the Russian government had no part in Alexei’s poisoning that should they have had, Navalny would not be alive to tell the tales. As a follow-up, in the words of the Russian President.
“But that doesn’t mean he needs to be poisoned,” said the President. “Who needs him?”
