Tips leading to the arrest of key persons at the forefront of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, TPLF, are worth $256,000 according to Ethiopia’s defence ministry.

Warrants for over 60 senior leaders of the TPLF have been disseminated since last month. This comes in the wake of the recent spate of violence that rocked the community.

Several thousand who fled to neighbouring Sudan due to the violence are yet to return back to normalcy.

The United Nations, yesterday, announced a $35 million emergency aid package to Tigrayan citizens. $25 million of that will be used to address drugs while $10.6 million will cater for shelters and water to the many who fled to Sudan.
