The Boko Haram terrorists have decided to take ownership fully of the attack on the Kankara Secondary School in Katsina after the dispute on the voice note.
A video recording showing a front view of a group of the students begging that all troops sent in for their rescue should be sent back, as their lives have been threatened by their abductors.
The video featured the Boko Haram flag in the top right corner.
There had been former reports that when the army attempted to rescue the boys, the culprits used the boys as human shields.
The growing rate of insecurity in northern Nigeria has continued to steadily rise with each case of abduction grimmer than the former.
