Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP player, has signed a mouthwatering $228.2 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The 5-year extension deal broke the existing record of 228 million by James Harden in 2017. Giannis, who was born to Nigerian immigrants in Athens, Greece has been on a steady rise in the NBA world.
Giannis began his career in 2013 with the Milwaukee Bucks, was named the Most Valuable Player for the second season in a row, and also won the Defensive Player of the Year Award in the same season.
Giannis expressed excitement at the signing of the deal, which allows him to pull out after four years should anything go wrong.
