The air has been cleared as Joe Biden is now the uncontestable winner of the recently concluded and disputed United States Presidential Election.
Joe Biden won by a majority of 306 electoral votes while Trump secured 232 votes. Ironically, the same exact figures he won by four years away. All fifty states cast their ballots.
The incumbent, Donald Trump had without tangible proof cast aspersion on the fairness of the election with claims that did not hold water, he opined that the elections were fraudulent.
In a statement, Joe Biden during an evening speech celebrated his victory, said: “Once again in America, the rule of law, our Constitution, and the will of the people have prevailed. Our democracy — pushed, tested, threatened — proved to be resilient, true, and strong.”
Not only does the electoral votes affirm that indeed, Donald Trump indeed lost at the polls, it took a step further in cementing the democracy tenets of the United States for a free and fair election, it also displayed how resilient the laws become should all else fail, setting a good example for all other democratic governments to learn from.
