Richard DeLisi, sentenced to a 90-year jail sentence has expressed gratitude after his sentence was suspended after serving 31 years.
DeLisi who lost his wife, son, and parents while in confinement expressed his excitement at the opportunity to catch up on lost time with his family.
He had been the longest serving prisoner at a Florida prison for a nonviolent crime.
DeLisi was arraigned at 40 years and was sentenced to 90 years because it was believed he was part of a large trafficking syndicate.
He described himself as a survivor as he reconnected with his family.
