The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has been reacting to Saturday’s Imo North senatorial bye-election where the All Progressives Congress, APC, was declared the winner of the election.
Briefing reporters in Owerri, the state capital, on Sunday, the Governor thanked the people of the area for coming out en masse to vote for the APC.
While speaking on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s refusal to declare any candidate, Governor Uzodinma insisted that Frank Ibezim is the authentic candidate of the APC in the election following the Court of Appeal judgment and the statement by the APC National Executive Committee.
