Bakura State Constituency bye-election has been declared inconclusive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, due to the cancellation of the results in 14 polling units.
The Returning Officer, Professor Ibrahim Magawata, announced the cancellation early in the morning, this Sunday.
In Bakura Ward, the election results of four polling units were cancelled.
A total number of 11,429 votes were affected in various units, this was according to Professor Magawata.
The returning officer said the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ibrahim Tudu, has scored the total number of 18,645 votes, while the APC candidate, Bello Dankande scored 16, 464 votes.
