The Adamawa State House of Assembly has promised a speedy passage of the Violence Against Persons Prohibition, VAPP, Bill before the end of 2020.
The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Aminu Abbas, while addressing members of the North-East Humanitarian Innovation Hub, NEHIH, at the State Assembly, said the House will commence first reading of the bill in their next sitting.
The Speaker also solicited the support of stakeholders who could help facilitate a swift passage of the bill into law before the Assembly goes on break.
