Abdulrasheed Maina, the former Chairman of Pension Reform Task Team, who just yesterday returned from the Niger Republic where he was extradited from will remain in prison until his trial ends.
This is following his arrest on the 30th of November, 2020.
Maina has been facing trial over money laundering charges worth two billion Naira whilst serving as the Chairman of the Pension Reform Team.
It appears Justice Okon Abang decided to remain him in prison after his surety, Senator Ali Ndume was remanded in prison in his stead.
