The Federal Government has tasked states nationwide to integrate HIV prevention and treatment services in its social health insurance scheme.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, during an event to commemorate World Aids Day in Abuja, assured that the Federal Government will meet up its commitment to the prevention, management, and treatment of HIV.
Mustapha said the government’s fulfilled obligation to the basic healthcare provision fund is proof of Nigeria’s willingness to tackle healthcare at the grassroots and restores confidence for the management of HIV.
