Obiwanne Okeke of Invictus Group to Forfeit ₦235.4 million

Obiwanne Okeke who went viral last year after getting enlisted on Forbes as one of 80 the most successful young Nigerians has finally forfeited the sum of ₦235,451,989.89 million as Justice A.M Liman ruled earlier today. 

Justice Liman first ordered the interim forfeiture of the sum domiciled in FCMB after an ex parte application by the EFCC on the 18th of December, 2019. Afterwards, the EFCC advertised in newspapers seeking the final forfeiture of the disclosed sum to the Federal Government which has now been granted.

Okeke was arrested in August 2019 in the United States on Wire fraud and computer fraud charges which he pleaded guilty to as part of a list of 77 Nigerians involved in a Los Angeles money laundering network.
