Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has been invited by the Senate over the recent killings in Zabarmari, Borno State
The Senate has reportedly called for the sack of service chiefs on grounds that Boko Haram insurgents have taken over some parts of the North East, mounting roadblocks whilst collecting levies from farmers.
The president is expected to deliver an update on the state of insecurity and plans to regain control at the hearing
Although a separate argument citing that security personnel have not been fully equipped to tackle the insecurity across the country, desperate measures are currently being put in place to restore normalcy to the North-Eastern part of Nigeria.
