Lagos East Senatorial Candidate, Babatunde Gbadamosi has in a pre-action letter by his legal correspondent, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has sued the All Progressives Congress for 1 Billion in Naira for slander.
The aspirant running on the platform of the PDP claims that the allegation that his West African Examination Council submitted to the Electoral Commission is fake. The allegations by Seye Oladejo, the APC Spokesman has been described as an attempt to diminish his image prior to the upcoming bye-election.
Gbadamosi’s lawyer has demanded a public apology to be published in four different news outlets, within a 7-day period, and a penal fee of ₦1 billion to the contending East Senatorial Candidate along with an undertaking to not repeat the act.
As of the time of this writing, the APC Spokesperson has yet to respond to the petition.
