The United Nations, UN, has redacted their initial claims that 110 farmers were killed in the recent attack at the Zabarmari area of Borno State over the weekend.
The initial figures which caused controversy and many wondered which of the counts were correct to have now been debunked by the parastatal yesterday on grounds that the figure was not properly sourced.
The state Governor, Babagana Zulum, reported that 43 residents were murdered whilst working on their rice farms.
