The northern Tigray region forces have shot down a national warplane and captured the pilot in what will be the fourth week of a battle between the TPLF and the Federal Government.
The Tigray forces and the federal government have been in a battle since the government said some security officials were attacked in the Tigray region which they have denied and several years of political resistance of Abiy Ahmed’s governance.
This was reported by Tigray TV.
The Ethiopian Minister of Democratisation, Zadrig Abraha, however, debunked the news as untrue.
Several people have died, several as refugees in Sudan and rising polarization between the ethnic groups yet it appears the end to the crisis is not anytime soon.
