The Federal Government says protecting her critical oil and gas assets will remain a top priority of the Buhari-led administration.
Nigeria’s Defense Minister, Bashir Salihi, made this known while on a one-day inspection visit to military formations in Warri, Delta state.
He emphasized that the country cannot afford to lose billions of Naira to crude oil thieves and vandals.
The Defense Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ibass, some top government officials, and some senior military personnel.
The Federal Government delegation inspected military ships and gunboats used for sea surveillance patrol.
