Following the unfortunate incident at the Kugbo Slope area of Abuja, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Commandant General, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu ordered a prompt investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack on Vehicle Inspection Officers.
The VIO officials were allegedly attacked by the officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The involved officers have been suspended and their vehicles confisticated to ensure that justice is served. He also used the opportunity to apologize to the Vehicle Inspection Officers and further assured of maximum cooperation and support in discharging their duties.
