Matt Beard has left his position as the head coach of West ham united women on mutual consent
He resigned after having just one win in seven league matches.
He joined the club in 2018, before leading the team to the women’s super league as a fully professional club. West ham ladies got to their first FA Cup final against Manchester City last season in Wembley but lost to the citizens.
His final league game as a coach was last Sunday when he lost to Brighten and hove Albion. His final game at the club was in the Continental League Cup on Wednesday night, where he led the hammers to a 4-0 victory against Charlton.
It has been reported that Billy Stewart and Paul McHugh will take charge until a new coach is announced.
