Emmanuel Ikwulono, Benue state health and human resources commissioner is dead.
According to sources from the Government House, it was revealed that the commissioner died as a result of complications from surgery for a yet-to-be-confirmed illness in an undisclosed hospital.
He was said to have attended the last State Executive Council and later went for his surgery.
Dr Ikwulono resumed office as the Commissioner for Health and Human Services in August 2020 replacing Dr Sunday Ongbabo who voluntarily resigned a week before Ikwulono was sworn in.
