The National Basketball Association and the Players Association have announced the 2020/2021 NBA season will KICK-OFF on December 22.
This was confirmed on Monday after a statement said they have a deal on rules for this coming season, which will set the stage for what will be a busy few weeks before games resume.
The statement also said it will have a 72 game schedule, which will be announced in the coming weeks. Furthermore, negotiations with free agents will commence on November 20th, while signing will thick off on November 22, with training camps on the 1st of December.
The 2019-20 season was put on hold in mid-march as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
The season was then concluded in a bubble Orlando on 11 October.
