The Imo State government has expressed its commitment to reverse the challenges facing the Imo State University Teaching Hospital, Orlu.
The teaching hospital recently lost its accreditation over reported poor facilities.
Governor Uzodinma gave the assurance after inspecting the facilities and other health institutions in the state
Hospitals visited are Imo State University Teaching Hospital, Imo Foundation Hospital, and Ochiedike Dialysis Centre, Owerri.
Uzodinma restated his determination to transform the health and education sectors which according to him have been neglected by previous administrations.
The Governor also frowned at the payroll system adopted by officials in the health sector.
Governor Uzodinma implored the health workers to remain diligent in the course of their services.
