Russian 23-year-old Andrey Rublev defeated Lorenzo Sonego on Sunday 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 19 minutes to lift his fifth ATP Tour- the title of the season.

Following his win in Vienna, Rublev is now tied with Novak Djokovic on the 2020 match wins.

The 23-year-old also qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time, winning 19 of his last 20 matches and a 15-match winning streak at the ATP 500s.

Rublev who has played 12 tournaments in 2020, becomes the first Russian to win five ATP Tour titles, after Nikolay Davydenko, who played 23 tournaments and also lifted the Nitto ATP Finals trophy in 2009.

The 2020 Nitto ATP finals will be held at the O2 Arena in London. from 15 to 22 November.
