Members of the EndSARS protest have resumed protest nearly a week after suspending it over the hijacking of action by thugs as they paint the streets of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport and the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters building.

Over 70 members joined the co-convener of RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, to imprint “EndSARS” in red paint bold letters on the street to serve as a reminder for the Federal Government to fully implement their 5 for 5 demands on reforming the police system.

At the Abuja airport, there was a confrontation between the military and the agitating youths who insisted that their mission must be carried out.

But at the front of the Nigerian Police Headquarters, the security men deployed at the point of entrance looked on to allow the protesters to carry out the imprinting on the street in front of the security building.

The protesters said they will continue to push their demands by obeying law and order but will ensure that the thugs never succeed in jeopardising their efforts.

One hour later, it was gathered that the red paint used to paint the “EndSARS” letter on the street housing the Force building have been wiped off by the security agents manning the entrance of the Headquarters.
