Famous for his role in James Bond and a stellar 50-year career, Scottish Actor, Sean Connery has finally passed away peacefully in his sleep at age 90. The family have disclosed that a private funeral ceremony will be held after the virus has subsided.
He starred in many blockbuster movies such as The Rock, Thunderball, Marnie, Murder on the Orient Express, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Untouchables, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, his last movie which he shot at 73 and so many others.
He is fondly referred to as the original James Bond in entertainment circles and the producers, Michael G.Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said as much on the official 007 Twitter account.

“He was and shall always be remembered as the original James Bond whose indelible entrance into cinema history began when he announced those unforgettable words “The name’s Bond… James Bond” — he revolutionized the world with his gritty and witty portrayal of the sexy and charismatic secret agent,” the producers said.
“He is undoubtedly largely responsible for the success of the film series and we shall be forever grateful to him.”
