Rapper Lil Wayne Announces His Support For Trump

American rapper and songwriter, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr, popularly known as Lil Wayne, has publicly declared his support and endorsement of the US President, Donald Trump.

On Thursday, the rapper tweeted a photo of him standing beside Trump and supporting his “Platinum Plan” to assist the Black Americans by creating wealth and prosperity throughout his years in office.

He tweeted: “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

This announcement has gained a lot of backlash on social media as fans expressed their disapproval of Lil Wayne’s actions.

American rapper, Curtis Jackson [50 cents] also expressed his opinion by tweeting that he would have never taken the picture with the president.

Meanwhile, some described Lil Wayne’s actions as another Black entertainer stepping away from the democrats.

Lil Wayne was also added as part of the black rappers who have shown their support to Trump alongside rappers like 50 Cent, Kanye West, and recently Ice Cube.
