On Tuesday, October 27, armed looters invaded the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, orientation camp, in Kubwa, Abuja, carting away mattresses, electronics, a bag of rice, and other items.
The thugs were equipped with jackknives, sticks machetes, and other dangerous objects as they raided the residents and shop around the camp centre.
According to eyewitnesses, some of the residents around the area also joined in on the looting of the orientation camp.
Meanwhile, a series of gunshots were fired by soldiers as they tried to scare off the looters.
The raiders were said to have entered the premises scaling the fence and catching the soldiers around by surprise.
This incident marks the third-day scoundrels went round raiding warehouses believed to contain Covid-19 palliatives.
