Alex Rins fought off countryman, Alex Marquez, to claim his first win of the 2020 MOTOGP season on home soil on Sunday.
The 24-year-old becomes the eighth champion, to win in 10 races this season, after an early injury scare on reigning champion Marc Marquez.
It is the third victory for the young Spaniard, who won twice last year but was sidelined at the beginning of this season, due to injury.
Another Spaniard, Joan Mir, took the championship lead from Fabio Quartararo, who struggled and finished in 18th place.
