Police in Katsina State have intercepted 600 rounds of 7.62 millimeters live ammunition from a 35-year-old suspected bandit and arms supplier, Abubakar Haruna, who concealed the consignment under the seat of his boxer motorcycle.
Police Public Relations Officer, SP Gambo Isah, made this known while displaying the ammunition before reporters at the Command’s Headquarters on Thursday.
Isah said the suspect has been on the wanted list of the police and unfortunately, died while on admission as a result of injuries sustained during the encounter.
