The reopening of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, orientation camp has been authorised by the Federal Government from November 10, 2020.
The NYSC camp was shut down on March 18, due to the breakout of the Coronavirus pandemic as measures were carried out to control the spread of the virus.
Sunday Dare, the Minister of Youths and Sports Development, made this statement on Thursday, October 15, via his Twitter account.
Dare said: “The resumption of the NYSC Orientation Camp for prospective Youth Corpers has been approved and opens on November 10, 2020.
“Full COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced. The approval has been granted to reopen orientation camps, but full safety protocol will be exercised to assure adequate protection amongst call remembers.”
