Former Manchester United defender, Ashley Young, has contracted COVID-19. The news was confirmed on Sunday by inter Milan, as he becomes the latest Milano player to test positive for the virus.
It was confirmed less than a week before former champions play Milan in a derby match.
The club said the defender is isolating at home and is feeling better, after taking a test at the club’s training centre.
Teammates Radja Nainggolan, Alessandro Bastoni, and Roberto Gagliardini have all tested positive for the virus.
Inter Milan will take on rivals AC Milan on Saturday, October 17 after the international break.
