The EFCC Office domiciled in Uyo have apprehended two music producers, Obot John Aniedi and Odok Valentine Metun in front of the Federal High Court in Calabar.
The duo were charged with fraudulently impersonating and obtaining property from an American military officer identified as Afando Stevens via Facebook and also collecting the sum of $150, a crime punishable under the Cybercrime Act 2015.
After pleading guilty to the charges, they were both sentenced to 3 months Imprisonment with the option of 200,000 Naira fine each.
