Mercedes will fly-in six new members of staff for this weekend’s Formula 1 Eifel Grand Prix at the Nurburgring, after confirming coronavirus cases.
In a statement released by Mercedes, it said the team was retested in Germany after confirming coronavirus cases, and those who tested negative, will not take part in the Grand Prix, as six replacements will travel Nürburgring, in line with the F1 and FIA protocols.
Mercedes also confirmed that it is currently working with the FIA and Formula One as a result of the positive cases.
They further said the identities of those affected will not be revealed. The Eifel Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, October 11 in Nurburgring Germany
