It has been reported that six Yamaha MotoGP group members, including Project Leader, Takahiro Sumi, will not attend this weekend’s French Grand Prix in Le Mans France after one of its engineering staff tested positive for coronavirus.
The team which currently seats first and third in the MotoGP World Championship standings, in a statement, said it will arrange for an alternative staff to travel to France, while the project leader and other engineers will stay remotely connected with the team and the riders.
