Nigeria’s Air Force Chief Pledges Rout of Bandits from Forests

Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, says the bombardment of the forest enclaves of bandits will continue until they are routed.

The air chief was in Kaduna to provide moral support to personnel involved with bombardment missions in the Kuduru and Kuyanbana forests, which border Zamfara and Kaduna States.

Air Marshal Abubakar asked the pilots and support troops to be clinical in the operation, and obliterate any identified camps of the bandits.

He stressed the commitment of the Air Force to ensuring the territorial integrity of Nigeria, through the professional diligence of officers and men, who remain resolute to protecting citizens also in internal security operations.
