Everton has completed the signing of Norwich City defender, Ben Godfrey, for a deal of 25 million pounds, with add-ons rising up to 30 million pounds, on a five-year deal, after joining Norwich from York City in 2016.

The 22-year-old becomes Ancelotti’s fifth signing after midfielders Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure, Columbia’s James Rodriguez, and Niels Nkounkou.

In a statement, England international said It is an honor to sign for a club, with an exciting team of world-class players.

He made 30 appearances for Norwich before they were relegated back to the SKYBET Championship.

It has been reported that York City will receive around 2 million pounds, having negotiated a sell-on clause on his move to Carrow Road.
