Former BBC presenter and Pastor, Ben Thomas, has been jailed for sexually assaulting children and adults.

Thomas’ crimes started between 1990 -2019, in July, admitted to being 10 sexual activities with children, eight sexual assaults, and four attempted sexual assaults.

He also admitted to nine indecent assaults, seven acts of voyeurism, and making of two improper videos of children.

Thomas worked as a presenter for BBC Wales and in 2005, he left BBC to preach on the streets of London, before becoming a pastor at Criccieth Family Church in Gwynedd before leaving his post last year.

Criccieth Church released a statement expressing their complete shock on the matter as a safe guarding check has been carried out on him and it came out satisfactory.

The NSPCC termed Thomas’ crimes as horrendous. While the North Wales police praised the victims and their families for their strength and courage regarding this ordeal.
