Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan was recognized as the best player for the 2019/20 season in the Europa League.
The 26-year-old joined the Europa League at the round of 32 and propelled Inter Milan all the way to the final.
A former striker for Manchester United, he recorded seven goals and two assists at the end of the last campaign.
Unfortunately, Inter were not able to topple the Europa League specialists Sevilla.
Nevertheless, Lukaku was the favourite of coaches and journalists who voted.
The draw for the 2020/21 Europa League group stage has been finalized. The big names in the tournament so far this season are AS Roma, Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal, Celtic, AC Milan, Leicester City, Napoli, and Benfica.
Some notable fixtures to look forward to would be the clash between Benfica and Rangers, Napoli vs Real Sociedad, SC Braga vs Leicester City, and Celtic vs AC Milan.
The group stage will commence in November 2020.
