The number of successfully treated Covid-19 cases in Nigeria is now 50,358 following the discharge of 421 patients in the last 24 hours.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, is also reporting 201 new Covid-19 infections in 13 states as the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria since the index case on February 27 rises to 58,848.
The 13 states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-77; Rivers-37; Plateau-25; FCT-13; Kaduna and Ogun-12 each; Adamawa-8; Taraba-7; Imo-4; Kwara and Osun-2 each; Abia and Oyo-1 each.
There is one Covid-19 fatality reported in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll put at 1,112.
